Is the consultation actually free?
Yes. Completely free. No hidden fees. No obligation to book after. You come in, you see your custom design, and you decide. The only thing required is your time.
Do I need to have my idea fully figured out?
Not at all. Come in with a direction, a feeling, or even a single sentence description. Our artists are experienced at taking something vague and turning it into something specific. Bring whatever references you have.
What happens if I love the design?
If you want to move forward and secure your appointment, a deposit is required at the end of the consultation. That deposit goes directly toward the cost of your tattoo, so you’re not paying extra. You’re just locking in your spot.
What if the design isn't right?
We keep working until it is.
If the first version isn’t exactly what you had in mind, we rework it on the spot. If it’s a style mismatch, we pair you with a different artist who is a better fit.
We don’t let you walk out with something you’re not completely confident in.
How long does the consultation take?
Typically 30 minutes depending on the complexity of your project. We don’t rush it; getting the design right is the most important part of the process.
What styles do you specialize in?
We specialize in hyperrealism, black-and-grey realism, portrait tattoos, colour realism, fine line, micro-realism, geometric, Japanese traditional, and cover-ups. With 20+ artists across two locations, we have a specialist for every style.
Which location do I come to?
We have two locations: Bank Street in Centretown and Kanata Avenue. When you submit your form, we’ll match you with the right artist and confirm which location makes the most sense for you.
How soon can I get a consultation?
We try to get consultations booked as quickly as possible, often the same day or the next day, depending on availability. Submit your form and our team will reach out within a few hours to lock in your time.
Do I need to bring anything?
Bring any reference photos or inspiration you have saved. Screenshots, Pinterest boards, Instagram saves, anything that gives your artist a sense of what you’re going for. The more context, the better.
What if I've had a bad experience at another shop before?
That’s exactly why we created this process. You see the design before you commit. You meet the artist before you sit down. There are no surprises. You’re in control of every decision before anything permanent happens.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes. If you have existing work you’d like covered or reworked, bring a photo to your consultation, and we’ll assess what’s possible and design something that works on top of it.
Is there a minimum spend?
Our consultations are designed for custom projects. If you’re looking for something small and simple, our walk-in service may be a better fit. Submit your form, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
